ERAB welcomes five new members of the Board of Directors

ERAB is delighted to announce the appointment of five new members of its Board of Directors. The appointments were approved at the 2016 meeting of the ERAB Board of Directors.
Professor Chris Day, who joins as an ex officio member following his appointment as Chairman of the ERAB Advisory Board.
Chris has been a member of the ERAB Advisory Board since ERABs foundation in 2003. He is currently Pro Vice Chancellor in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Newcastle. He replaces Emeritus Professor Philippe De Witte who resigned in September.
Renate Sommer, MEP, has replaced Markus Ferber MEP.
Mrs Sommer has been a Member of the European Parliament since 1999. She serves on a number of Committees and is the President of the EP Beer Club.
Dr Isak Lindstedt has replaced Dr Erik Skovenborg who resigned his membership in May this year.
Isak is a general practitioner with a special interest in hypertension and lifestyle changes for improved health.
Pavlos Photiades has replaced Demetrio Carceller following his appointment as President of The Brewers of Europe.
Pavlos is Managing Director of Photos Photiades Breweries, the leading Brewery and Beverage Distribution Company in Cyprus.
Mrs Sarah Boselli has replaced Kieran Simpson.
Sarah is the Head of EU Public Affairs in Heineken.
ERAB would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board members who have stepped down this year for their support for ERAB over a number of years: Emeritus Professor Philippe De Witte, Markus Ferber MEP, Dr. Erik Skovenborg, Demetrio Carceller and Kieran Simpson.
