ERAB organised the 38th IMAG in Amsterdam on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th October 2014.
Formerly the International Medical Advisory Group Conference this IMAG was restyled the International Meeting on Alcohol and Global Health, as this better described its content. These conferences, which have previously taken place in Australia, Canada and the USA as well as many places in Europe, have traditionally been an opportunity for ERAB and ABMRF to showcase the research projects which they have funded. This meeting, the first bearing the new title, concentrated on providing state of the art overviews on a range of topics of relevance to scientists working in the field of alcohol research and ERAB’s sponsors.
The four topics were ” Drivers of Behaviour”, “All Cause Mortality”, “Individual Versus Population Prevention” and “The Health Effects of Moderate Consumption of Beer, Wine and Spirits”.
